How to Calculate Grade Point?

Calculate percentage of subject divided by 9.5

Forex: If you received 60% marks in Maths, Divide 60/9.5 = 6.31

6.31 is the grade point you obtained in Maths. Input the gradepoint in the above calculator.

Below are the percentages associated to the grades achieved within CBSE schools

A1 = 10 CGPA (95& AND ABOVE) – STATE RANKER

A2 = 9 CGPA (85% TO 95% MARKS) – RANKER

B1 = 8 CGPA (76% TO 84% MARKS) =DISTINCTION

B2 = 7 CGPA (66% TO 75% MARKS) – 1ST CLASS

C1 = 6 CGPA (55% TO 65% MARKS) – 2ND CLASS

C2 = 5CGPA (46% TO 54% MARKS) – 3RD CLASS

D = 4 CGPA (38% TO 45%) – JUST PASS

E1 AND E2 = FAILED = ELIGIBLE OF IMPROVEMENT (EIOP)

How to Calculate CGPA from Grade Point?

CGPA = Overall Percentage (average % obtained from all subjects) / 9.5

or

CGPA = (Gradepoint(Subj 1)* Credits(Subj 1)) + (GP(Subj 2) * Credits(Subj 2 )) + ….     _________________________________________________________________________

Credits(Subj 1) + Credits(Subj 2) +….
